Establishing an End-to-End Quality Control System
- Pre-production Planning and Objective Management: Develop comprehensive quality contingency plans covering every stage of production and define specific quality targets for each process. Prioritize quality as the core focus-balancing schedule, cost, and quality-to ensure effective collaboration across departments.
- Process-Wide Supervision: Implement quality inspection checkpoints across all production stages, including blank forming, machining, surface treatment, and assembly. Mandate self-inspections and peer inspections upon the completion of each step; rectify issues immediately to prevent defects from passing to the next stage.
- Personnel and Equipment Assurance: Require operators of critical processes to hold relevant certifications and undergo periodic skills assessments. Schedule regular calibration and maintenance for production equipment-such as machine tools, welding units, and injection molding machines-to ensure consistent precision and prevent batch quality issues caused by equipment deviations.
Strictly Implementing Incoming Raw Material Control
- Verify material certificates for metal pipes and welding consumables to ensure chemical composition and mechanical properties fully meet design specifications; for stainless steel fittings, select welding consumables of the matching grade.
- Conduct comprehensive incoming inspections for auxiliary materials such as plastic granules and rubber sealing rings. Ensure rubber components are free from cracks or air bubbles, and strictly control the compression of O-rings within the optimal range of 0.35–0.65 mm.
