Tooth pitch consistency is one of the most important factors in double start worm manufacturing. The two spiral starts must maintain accurate pitch distribution to achieve balanced engagement with the worm wheel. We control tooth pitch deviation within ≤0.004mm and achieve Grade 6 worm precision. For larger specifications, we provide Grade 7 precision with surface roughness ranging from Ra0.8 to 1.6μm. Accurate pitch control helps reduce vibration and operating noise caused by uneven tooth engagement. This improves transmission stability during continuous operation.
